🧠 The Idea
PiezasParaTuVehiculo is a custom online shop developed for a scrapyard, aimed at digitizing the sale of engines, spare parts, and components.
The client needed a platform that:
- Allows any user to easily search for and purchase spare parts.
- Offers secure online payment options.
- Manages inventory and orders intuitively.
The solution needed to be fast, scalable, and easy to use for any visitor.

- Filterable parts catalog by make/model
- Product detail with images and descriptions
- Persistent shopping cart
- Integration with Stripe for online payments
- Order management and status tracking
- Administrative panel for managing parts, stock, and orders
- Intelligent parts search
- Responsive and mobile-optimized
🧱 Tickets and Business Logic
The main challenge was to correctly model:
- The relationship between vehicles and spare parts
- Filters by make/model/year
- Inventory with real-time availability
- Order statuses (pending, completed, shipped)
Additionally:
- Authenticated user management
- Integration with external services (such as payment gateways)
- Email notifications
🏗️ Tools and Technical Decisions
This project is built with:
- Laravel as the backend framework
- Livewire for interactivity without full SPAs
- Tailwind CSS for agile and consistent design
- Stripe for secure payments
- MySQL for data persistence
- Shipping and email services
Key decisions were:
- Keeping product logic in the backend (Laravel) for robustness
- Using Livewire for lightweight and maintainable interactivity
- Clearly separating responsibilities for payment, inventory, and orders

The design was optimized for:

- Useful filters and fast search
- Immediate response on mobile devices
- Clear experience at every step of the checkout
